Event Details

The Western Australia Chinese Chamber of Commerce (WACCC) is pleased to host an exclusive HK & China Market Briefing, in collaboration with the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office (HKETO) and InvestHK.

Hong Kong, together with the Greater Bay Area (GBA)โ€”an integrated economic region encompassing Hong Kong, Macau, and nine cities (incl. Shenzhen) in Guangdong Provinceโ€”offers a unique gateway for Australian businesses looking to engage with one of the most vibrant and innovative economic zones in the world. With strong government support, world-class infrastructure, and a fast-growing consumer market, the GBA presents compelling opportunities across sectors such as technology, finance, education, agri-food, and advanced manufacturing.

This special briefing will feature insights from representatives of HKETO, InvestHK Sydney, HKTDC, and Assoc. Prof. Liu Fang from UWA. Attendees will gain a strategic overview of the investment landscape in Hong Kong and the GBA, learn about support services available to foreign investors, and hear real-world case studies from WA-based businesses with successful operations in the region.

Australia's continued growth is closely tied to deepening our engagement with Asia. This event offers an ideal platform to explore how your business can capitalise on emerging opportunities in Hong Kong and the GBA.

A Q&A session and networking reception will follow the presentations.

Join us to explore how your business can connect with one of Asia's most powerful economic engines. Register now to secure your place.

To further this engagement, WACCC will be leading a business mission to Hong Kong and China in November 2025.
